Transilient: What celebrity death has impacted you the most?
I would say probably Paul Walker, which is probably cliche to say since I work with cars. I grew up watching the Fast and Furious movies, I’d come out of the theater wanting to race my 2000 Toyota corolla *laughs* His death was so sudden and then his quote “If one day speed kills me, don't cry because I was smiling.” That kind’ve hit me, because everyday I’m out on the road and if I get hit, ya know, I’m dying doing something I love but I don’t know it just hit me with that. Because his was so sudden.
Transilient: How do you feel about this administration? Do you feel scared?
I don’t feel protected. Its not that I don’t feel safe, because I’m surrounded by people who love me and make me feel safe, but I don’t feel protected as a person from the community. I was followed into a restroom once, this was like pre-t, but I still passed even before testosterone, but to me I wasn’t passing enough to use the mens room, so like I would use the women’s before getting on testosterone, and this woman yelled at me from across the store and then proceeded to follow me into the restroom and then waited outside of the stall I was using. So I mean with that, I don’t feel protected, no one was listening or paying attention. That kind’ve of mindset that you literally need to follow someone into the bathroom to PROVE that they’re someone that they’re not. Thats sketchy. I don’t like the administration we have I think they’re portraying us as evil when we are not, we are people just like everyone else, we have goals, we have ambitions, we have people we love, we don’t have anything else than you don’t have, I mean you have a small loan of a million dollars and I wish I could get that but you know *laughs* I’m hoping the next election will be a whole lot better. All I want to do is pee.
