I want to be a teacher because my mother put the teacher curse on me. I’m not sure what I want to teach- probably something to do with sex ed. I love sex ed! I like psychology a lot too.
Angela Day Ballard- Adams, was my seventh-grade science teacher. And by the way, I am fantastic at science, not the science I am in now because Biology is awful, and anyway Amy loved They Might Be Giants. They have some educational music. She was amazing. She was absolutely phenomenal! I really felt like I had someone who was looking out for my best interest, aside from my mother of course. The good teachers felt like they were more concerned about being teachers over anything else. There are teachers who actually want to teach. They make a difference in people’s lives. I want to be a teacher like that.
Transilient: It seems like you like to educate folks a lot and go to school, but what do you do for fun?
I love Sims so much. Sims is my favorite thing in the whole world. I love Sims so much, it’s ridiculous! I never really thought about why I love it, and then I thought about it due to a project I was assigned at school, but I feel like I like Sims so much because I haven’t had a lot of control in my life. I get to decide every aspect in it. I get to play God for a little while in a video game. They also came out with this cool new update like two days ago. With Sims 4 there is no gender anymore. All the clothes, all the hair, all the makeup is for any gender you want. I have not played since that update came out. That changes everything! That is a game changer. “
